Not a Coincidence

It was the last few minutes of canvassing and I had meet a really nice Adventist family. As soon as they realized I was Adventist, they invited me in. I radioed Daniel to tell him I was entering the house.
"OK," he said, "be quick!"
I felt a sudden urgency. As if there was someone on that very street was desperately in need of the bread of life. This pushed me to be as efficient as I could with the adorable Adventist family, then dash to the next house.
A teenaged girl opened the door. I canvassed her on Lessons of Love. She was confused at first, but she finally understood that the books were not free. So, she ran inside to get her mom taking the book with her.
I waited. Soon enough a guy came out. He seemed about my age. He was holding the book.
"What's this?" he asked. So, I canvassed him. It took him a little while to comprehend what was going on. However, he finally understood that they were religious books for ten dollars each.
"I'm not going to doubt the principles in this book," he stated.
I thought I was losing the sale.
"And I don't think it's a coincidence that you came when I just started to read my Bible," he continued. "And I don't think it's a coincidence that these books cost $20 because that's exactly how much I have."
I stood in complete awe of the way God orchestrated this powerful divine appointment. He disappeared into his house to grab his money, and I quickly grabbed The Great Controversy impressed that was the other book God wanted him to have.
"I think we'll meet again," he said as I left.
Yes, I thought, if not on earth then in heaven.
God is amazing.
